The Quincy have existed in some form far into human history, a curious spiritual evolution of man capable of manipulating the reishi around them to great effect. For a time, they remained relatively docile, and their powers were barely used beyond religious purposes. Over generations, however, their ability to finely sense reiatsu allowed them to glimpse both Shinigami and Hollow, and their awareness of life beyond death quickly forced them to adapt themselves to a violent, secret world beyond the imagination of normal people.

Main Dimensions: The main dimensions are the center of the near-infinite realms of existence. Created by the long-absent, ancient Gods when time began, these places hold a unique feature that sets them apart from the other planes, binding them together through eternity: life. The energy of the spirits, transferred between these worlds in an immortal balance of life and death, is something found nowhere else. It is a concept so valuable and powerful that it defines the very core of the universe. For these reasons, the Gods left their proxy--the Spirit King--to watch over the scales of balance within its own nameless over-realm, ensuring that tPrimer: Dimensions by *NexusYuber
Primer: Spirit King
Since the beginning of time, the planes of existence have floated in the vastness of reality, twisting and turning under their own power after their creation at the hands of long-forgotten Gods. The World of the Living, Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, Hell, and a countless amount of other ‘dimensions’ were left to their own devices for reasons beyond the comprehension of any finite mind.

But the Gods were not unaware of the imbalance that they were leaving behind; they were the ones that created the infinite races and beings that inhabited these planes, including the Shinigami, the Hollow, humans, and even the denizens of Hell. They hPrimer: Spirit King by *NexusYuber
Las Catacumbas -- Hunting ParanoiaSwarrm took in the darkness of Hueco Mundo with a quick turn of its head. The moonlight from above reflected off of the ashes from long dead Hollow and the branches of petrified trees. Yet, as the Espada turned its eyes up towards the moon, no light was reflected from the goggles of its suit. It was unnatural—disturbing, even—yet it was a curiosity that no one dared question.

To some degree, this fit Swarrm perfectly. It was possible that this oddity was created for the sole purpose of propagating the mystery that was the Quatra Espada.

Overload Appearance: Bernie may be a man driven by a psychopathic mind, but he is in no way suicidal; he knows that overloading his Bloodline is an absolute, unavoidable death-sentence. His ego and general contempt of others holds him back from seeing a situation worthy enough for him to sacrifice his own life to end someone else’s. This, combined with his lack of zealotry for the Section 66 cause, actually makes Bernie one of the least likely to rely on his model’s overload, thinking of it as an absolute last resort instead of a final push against the tyranny of the spiritual world. Activation Appearance: Bernie is a man who is quick to kill. As such, he is one of those combatants who is dreadfully willing to activate his abilities in order to deal as much blind carnage as possible in as brutal a way as he can. I want to thank every single participant for entering this contest. Each one of you did a fantastic job in bringing my characters to life, and that's something that blows me away every time I hold a contest. In fact, it's what guarantees that I'll be holding more in the future!

The other judges ( :iconantimutalisk: :iconinfernalfeather: :icondrazoniandeath: :iconeverybodystepback: ) and I took some time to consider the pieces. We each submitted scores out of 20 points to each deviation, and then combined them into an out-of-one-hundred score for final placing. It was a close race at the top, and the winner came through by a small margin.

It is mainly a giant Fanclub for all of Nexus' work and OC's. Any info for updates, contests, ect. would be posted here :)

As for how many, I believe of Nexus OC's there are 10 espada, 13 captains, and 13 lieutenants, along with his new race which has 4-5 OC's there.

I see, thanks a lot for the explanation.
It seems like an interesting group, making OCs is really hard especially for universes like Bleach, Naruto, Ao No Exorcist or other Shonen mangas. I'm impressed by Nexus' talent to come out with various OCs well-made and specially well-drawn.

Yeah, he picks some of the best Artists on dA to draw his OC's. His talent is in making the best amongst OC's. Us co-founders only wish we had an ounce of his talent with our OC's xD

This group focuses on my Bleach Universe, yes. It's pretty extensive and has a decent amount of followers, so it was decided that a group would be better to keep things organized over a single user account.

The contest, likewise, is about my Bleach characters. You can use any of the pictures that I've uploaded as stock. You have to ask if you want to use any of the fanart, however, since I don't own the rights to those.

I have something like 36 characters out right now, each with artwork already done for them.

Oh, I see. This group seems interesting for me. I quite love Bleach and I'm antonished by the number of original characters you have. The most surprising, is that they're well-balanced, at least those I've read about so far in the "character profiles" folder.

I'm going to use some of your characters for my group icon entry, yet I'm not sure how many, nor which ones. All what I can say, is that I downloaded the pictures from the "character profiles" folder.
I'm only entering the Group Icon contest , by the way. I see that there are some entries in the "Contests" folder that aren't group icons but drawings, and I wonder which contest do they belong to. By simple curiosity. :)
